Drugs Are Good Money!

GlaxoSmithKline PLC (GSK:LN) is a giant drug manufacturing and distribution company. It is traded in London and in America. While the American stocks are going up slowly they also pay quarterly dividends. However, the English stocks are doing very well. They have gone up from 1,096 English pounds in February to 1,373 pounds last week. That is a little over a twenty percent increase in eight months.

GSK is one of the largest drug companies and has many different types of products. GSK not only works in America and Europe but is also taking over smaller drug companies in India. GSK is also buying out companies in China. In short, it looks like a solid company and if you can afford the 1,373 British pounds per share, then you should check it out for your portfolio. If, like most of us, you can’t afford the British stock shares, the American shares may also be worth buying.

Some of the up and coming management professionals at GSK are: Patrick Vallance, the Senior V. P. of Medicines Discovery and Development; and Emma Walmsley, the President of Worldwide Consumer Healthcare.

As with all stocks, before buying one should do a thorough investigation. If you are unable to do it yourself, then go to a professional. Also after purchasing the stocks they should be monitored every day.
